National Association of Mothers and Daughters United Worldwide
The National Association of Mothers and Daughters United Worldwide (NAMADUW) was birthed in 2009 by Lakita Stewart-Thompson, an advocate for fostering healthy mother-daughter relationships and serving women, children and families in need. In March 2014, NAMADUW released its first book project, Moments in HerStory: From Pain to Purpose, a compilation of testimonies, poetry and prose from 46 women who have endured life challenges and how they survived. The project reached #1 on Amazon's Top 100 New Releases among Christian Women's Issues.
